1. HALLS OF RESIDENCE OR HOSTELS - This is usually within the vicinity of the campus, it offers fully furnished single or twin-share rooms with a shared dining hall, lounge, and laundry. Meals are often included and free lively program social activities.

2. HOMESTAY OR PRIVATE BOARD - Huge advantage of a private board is that you will get to observe the day to day living of a New Zealand Family. You will live with a family's home, and you'll have a furnished room of your own and they also offer free meals. This is just a great way to develop your English skills.

3. FLATTING OR INDEPENDENT ACCOMMODATION - Flats can be found near campus, in the cities or farther out in the suburbs surroundings. It typically ranges from a one-bedroom apartment to five-bedroom homes. Most flats offer basic equipment like an oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and clothes dryer.
